This position requires someone to have a deep understanding of Big Data & Analytics space and not confined to any specific tools. Our goal is to do extensive research and conceive next generation tools and applications to empower today?s enterprises to experience the full potential of Big Data & Analytics by helping them to plan, analyze and manage data in real time.
Responsibilities
Market Research & Definition
Market and Customers
Identify market gaps & customer problems
Market Patterns
Track market patterns to predict competitive moves and drive product positioning
Use Cases and Personas
Work closely with customers to define use cases and establish user personas
Be the Funnel
Be the funnel that aggregates all internal & external ideas and data points but provides data backed prioritization to drive concrete product focus areas and themes
Strategy & Consultation

Conceive & Deliver the product
The Execution
Execute relentlessly with engineering to deliver world class product
Get Things Done
Have a scrappy & do whatever it takes attitude to get things done
Team Player
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery. You should be ready to participate in design discussions to make sure the decisions align with product requirements
Feedback Loop
Always available to engineers to provide feedback at every step as they build the product
Drive the business
Work with All Departments
Work closely with the Sales, Marketing & Partners
Field Support
Support field enablement and other go-to-market activities by creating collateral such as technical and business white papers, success stories, data sheets, brochures, best practices and product presentations
Business Metrics
Define, track and interpret key business metrics to track overall product success
Qualifications
Set the roadmap
Track Record
Proven track record of leading commercial enterprise software in the data management or analytics space
Experience
3+ years of product management experience in enterprise software technology
Big Data technologies
Deep Understanding of Big Data technologies
GUI Experience
Experience building GUI and/or web applications and designing user experience a big plus
Entrepreneurial DNA
An entrepreneurial DNA combined with high integrity and collaborative approach
Education
Must have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field. MBA preferred.
Complex Technologies
Ability to quickly understand complex technologies
Communication
Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across functions internally and with customers
